After the fourth week of the new Predictions League, Rich is maintaining his position at the top. However, as he's only scored 5 points this week, some players again gained points on him. Top scorer this week was goldentimes with 12. A terrible lack of faith was AGAIN shown in Everton with only BlueDunc predicting any kind of Everton result against Man Utd (correctly prediting the 1-1 score) however this was reversed when ALL players wrongly predicted an Everton victory for the visit of West Ham. Only one player got the full 6 points available for the Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal result!
Now for next week - The Sunderland -v- Liverpool game which was due to be played next weekend has already been played due to that lot being on holiday in Japan.
A reminder, the rules are the exact same as they were when alex ran it on the old blue room but with a couple of additions.
5 points for correct score in Everton match. 3 points for correct score in any other game. 1 point for correct result but wrong score in any game!
There's a couple of new additions to improve on the old format ( sorry alex )
- Every week, one selected Scottish Leage games will be included from now on. - Selected FA Cup games will be included after Christmas! We might even continue it into the World Cup Finals or maybe start a new one for that! - A game which I select as the top game of the weekend or the most difficult to predict will be worth double points. So if you predict the right score in this game, you get 6 points, right result but wrong score, 2 points. The game selected for the week as the game where these bonus points are available is marked clearly with a "****Bonus Double****" along side it! This will never be the Everton game due to the fact that 5 points are already available for Everton games and 10 would be too many to award.
Only scores posted 45 minutes before the opening game of the weekend (i.e posts made before midday on December 17th) will be counted. Any posts made or edited after this point will not be counted.
