It certainly is time for Mr Weir to step aside. This isn't some sort of kneejerk reaction either - I still think defensivly he's one of our best but its what he doesn't offer thats more important. Okay so pace is obvious but it runs deeper than that - distribution - we need someone who can pass the ball and start an attack from the back. At the moment we just have Weir lumping the ball up field or worse to the opposition forwards. By all accounts Kroldrup is a good passer of the ball but I wouldn't know cause he's just keeping the bench warm at the moment. I think its as captain that Weir is doing the most damage though ... he clearly isn't the man for the job. We go a goal behind and we might aswell walk off the pitch cause the captain couldn't raise a smile let alone his team. Thats the third time we have collapsed this season and I see it as a lack of leadership on the pitch. For me its get Kroldrup in and Neville as captain - the sooner Moyes bites the bullet and steps up to this descision the better.
